The candidate on each side is set. Now the dance begins. The media is a buzz with McCain’s visit to Billy and Franklin Graham as well as Obama’s meeting with church leaders last week. Why is the church so important in the political process. There use to be this belief called the separation of church and state. Meaning that the church stayed out of political affairs and the political powers that be stayed out of church affairs. Now the church drives the very topics considered important in political debates. The right to life…gay marriage…the list goes on. What is the place of the church in Election 2008. Who has the upper hand. McCain or Obama?

How was your weekend?

Plus it’s just an excuse for us to talk about nothing at all!!!!!!!!!!

I have a co-worker who is 42 years old. Recently she just found out that she was expecting her second child. It was perfect timing. She had her first child at 40 and she was eager to have another one before her biological clock quit ticking. Unfortunately, shortly into the pregnancy she found out that the baby had several birth defects and would die shortly after birth. The doctors recommended aborting the pregnancy, but holding out for a miracle and being extremely religious she chose to carry her pregnancy to term. Now, weekly she gets information of another portion of the baby that is not developing correctly and she simply waits, to give birth to the son that will only live a few minutes and be buried shortly after. I thought about her story as I watched the Today Show this morning. A  British woman went for in vitro fertilization, they were able to screen the fertilized embryos for a pre-determination to breast cancer. She conceived a child, from one of the embryos free of the breast cancer trait. Ensuring that her child will not be a carrier or a victim of breast cancer. As the medical field makes new strides towards genetics and prevention, are they playing too much in a field that they should not? Are the attempting to take the will of God out of the equation. Yes God has granted man knowledge, but are we using that knowledge in the correct manner?

THEY SAY BIG THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES AND WITH HIS NEW SEX TAPE OUT…YOU GET THE CHANCE TO SEE IF VERN IS ROCKING A “KICK STAND” ..WHICH BRINGS US TO THE QUESTION OF THE DAY- “WOULD YOU HIT IT ?”

Yeah, I’ve been lazy this week. I haven’t written much. Too much on my mind. So, let’s continue with the week’s tradition. Let it hang out. Enjoy. Time to fess up.

C’mon you know you want tooooo!

Why can’t people tell their cologne stinks? If it makes me sick to my stomach because it smells like raid what makes you think it smells good. A few months ago on the blog that will not be named I talked about the raid man. This man wears the worst smelling cologne that has ever hit my nose. It’s like a cross between the bug spray that the exterminators spray the building with and 409. It’s horrible. It lingers in the hallway and won’t go away. You’ll smell it the next day when you walk in the building. Does he bathe in it…seriously what is he doing to get this nasty mess to last. Now before I left a sticky note on his desk about the cologne…do I need to go to the house and steal it so you can’t put it on.

Next thought…why can’t people let go? If I’m not interested…do not drive around my parking lot at work. Do not sit in my driveway at home and call and ask where I am. We’re not like that. Neither one of us…want that…well that was the last discussion we had. I’m cool with it. I’ve moved on. Now you do the same. It’s not that serious. We never shared anything. Could you imagine how much worse it would be if I actually gave him some.

Why do stupid people exist? Do they know they’re stupid? Or do they really think they’re extremely intelligent and everyone else just can’t see it. Maybe if one of my staplers hits them upside the head it will knock some sense into their heads.

As  you can tell I’m a bit hype today. A little all over the place. So share some random thoughts. Or just talk about what’s going on in your world.
