A Palm Beach Gardens man and his mother, a middle school science teacher, are permanently barred from owning or possessing animals, a judge ruled Thursday after watching a short film of the man having sex in his bedroom with a German shepherd.Palm Beach County Judge Frank Castor also ordered that the county be given custody of the woman’s pets — two German shepherds and two cats — and ruled that she and her son, 18, jointly pay the county $1,848 in boarding costs and other fees.
The man, who was 17 at the time of the recorded activity, did not appear in court. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is not identifying him because he was a juvenile at the time of the activity.
His mother, whose residence is where the sexual activity occurred, teaches at a public school. She testified at Thursday’s hearing, insisting repeatedly that she was unaware of her son’s sexual acts with her male German shepherd. She said she found the behavior reprehensible and out of character for her son, whom she said is a recently graduated high school honors student. Thursday’s hearing included graphic details of the man’s sexual acts, including descriptions of the film that Palm Beach County sheriff’s investigators found stored on his personal computer in his bedroom.
Testimony was provided by a detective, county Animal Care and Control officials, including a chief veterinarian, and an expert animal trainer who said the videotape indicates the dog showed signs of submission and pain.The woman urged the judge not to take away her dogs, and said not allowing her to have future pets “is punishing the mother for the sins of a son.”
She told the judge, “I have not done anything wrong or have hurt these animals in any way. I was mortified to find this was going on.”
The county intends to put the animals up for adoption.
Damn, Rin Tin Tin got new and exotic jobs lately as Man’s Best Friend…………….SICK!

Yes, I hear Prince’s song playing in my head. I believe that should be the new theme song for this Democratic race, daily there is a new controversy. Whether it’s Hillary’s poorly chosen words or a minister tied to Obama’s campaign. Enter a new day and another media storm of controversy. Father Michael Pflegler. A Chicago activist, long time Jeremiah Wright and Trinity UCC friend, and pastor of a predominantly black Catholic church. Father Pflegler took the pulpit at Trinity UCC on Sunday and a portion of his message is getting a lot of attention. Many say that it continues the message of Jeremiah Wright. It’s hateful, derogatory, and just plain mean. The statements I hear, I’ve heard countless times throughout the blogosphere. Take a listen. Tell me what you think, will this do any harm to Senator Obama’s campaign? Who is really behind leaking all of this information and it is the intent?

Men-Stroll Cycle?

We touched on this sometime last week and Ki just touched on it again. So my question is-
DO MEN HAVE A MATING/DATING CYCLE?
I know I can’t be the only one who has had the experience of just about every guy I know, local and long distance…all call me within the span of a week!!

Why all the debate, hostility, and awe. Didn’t we already know that everything Scott McClellan says in his book is true? On Wednesday, McClellan critics were all over the news standing up for G.W. and condemning ex – Press Secretary McClellan. What purpose would McClellan have to lie. Many argue that this is an attempt to make a quick dollar. An attempt to darken the two terms that President Bush has spent in office. Wow, I didn’t know much more of a shadow could be cast on his administration. Currently, Bush’s approval rating is 25 percent. 25 percent out of 100. That’s not even a passing grade.
McClellan’s memoir is scheduled to go on sale, Monday, June 2nd. However, some outlets already have the book available. This morning during an interview on the Today Show, McClellan painted a picture of President Bush, a man who was a uniter in Texas. Worked between both the Republican and Democratic parties. He did what was best for the people of his state and not what would serve him. McClellan believed in his vision as Governor and followed him to Washington on that same vision. He had no reason to doubt him when he said that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction or that the Vice President’s office had nothing to do with the CIA leak case. McClellan was often the Bush administration’s strongest supporter. Standing proudly in front of the press and shooting down any negativity. Then a couple of years ago he resigned. Without warning, he left the Bush White House.
Now we have a tell all book that has everyone talking and talking and talking. Even Condi is standing by her man and condemning McClellan. According to McClellan the Bush administration is full of good people who just got a little too caught up in playing the Washington game.
